MykiFest is an annual event of the Department to celebrate the activities and achievements of women entrepreneurs, artisans, artistes, cultivators, SHGs and their contribution as equal partners towards socio-economic development of the State.

The department also participates in national or state level events or organizes other events such as International Women’s Day and events in other districts which hold relevance to the department.

1. Bloom Bazar 2023: Initiated by IDAN and held at the Heritage, Kohima, the Department participated for 6 weeks from 29^th September 2023 to 25^th November 2023. All Myki products of the Department were put up for display and sale during the event.
2. Hornbill Festival 2023: The Department participated during the Hornbill Festival from 7^th-10^th December at the Hortiscape, Kisama Village.A Souvenir Shop was also set up for display and sale of all the Myki Products from 1^st December-10^th December at Kisama Village during the Hornbill Festival 2023.
3. MykiFest was organized on 8^th March, 2024 coinciding with International Women’s Day. Stalls were put up to showcase Myki Products.
4. Skill Upgradation Training at Phekerkriema Village, Kohima:The Department of Women Resource Development in collaboration with Village Adoption Committee (VAC) 11 Northern Angami II A/C conducted training on Post-Harvest Management & Marketing Management, Value Addition &Processing on Naga King Chilly (pickling) on 26^th April 2023 at Phekerkriema Village, Kohima. Altogether, twenty (20) women beneficiaries were trained on the process of Naga King Chilly making (pickling).
