The Department provides financial assistance to destitute women who are widowed, unmarried or abandoned and falls in the age between 35yrs-60yrs. An amount of Rs 2400/- is provided to each beneficiary (@Rs 200/- per month). In line with the Government policy, the Department has been linking all the bank accounts of 4166 beneficiaries for Direct Beneficiary Transfer through the Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd, and various commercial banks.
