Multi Training Centre (MTC), Kohima & Dimapur

The Department provides skill development trainings in the Multi Training Centre presently located at Bayavu, Kohima and Purana Bazaar, Dimapur. Presently, the Kohima centre offers training in the existing programmes, viz Cutting & Tailoring, Knitting, Baking & Confectionery, Hairstyling and Soft Skilling; while the Dimapur centre offers training in Cutting & Tailoring and Knitting.

At the end of the Programme, the best trainees/candidates are provided with machineries & equipment to help them find meaningful and sustainable self-employment opportunities. Opportunities are also provided to successful trainees for engagement under the Pay-per-Production programme of the Department
