To bring more women centric programmes and facilities closer to the doorsteps of rural women, the Department has constructed Women Resource Centres at Mokokchung and Chazouba (Phek District) and three more are under construction in Zunheboto, Wokha and Peren Districts.
During 2019-20, basic training tools and machineries are being installed at Chazouba and Mokokchung to provide various short duration vocational training programmes catering to the needs of rural women within this calendar year.
